This is a pretty chunky lock. We were actually surprised at how heavy duty it looks. It doesn't come with a bracket to attach it to your bike and won’t be the easiest to coil around your frame/seat post - those are the downsides, the upside is that it provides both a great visual and physical deterrent compared to a lot of the flimsy little cable locks around.
So if you're maybe leaving your bike locked in an exposed area for a long period of time, it makes a great lock to chuck in your bag and secure your bike for the day.
